We accept a limited number of wedding commissions each year — not because we have to, but because we choose to. One celebration at a time means your day receives our complete and undivided attention, from the first conversation to the finished Sherwood Heirloom album in your hands.

We photograph weddings and celebrations on Long Island, across the United States, and abroad. If your day is happening somewhere beautiful and meaningful to you, we'd love to be there.

The Inquiry & Consultation

Every great relationship starts with a real conversation. We take the time to understand your vision, your priorities, and the feeling you want your day to carry — long before we talk logistics.

Contract & Retainer

Once we're aligned, we secure your date with a signed agreement and retainer. Your day is now protected — and fully ours to focus on.

STEP 03

The Deep-Dive Planning Session

Before your celebration, we sit down together for an in-depth planning session — no forms, no checklists. Drawing on years of experience, we know the questions to ask even when you don't know what you need yet. We'll map out your full timeline, identify the people and moments that matter most, and discuss any deadlines you have in mind for your finished products. We arrive on your day already knowing your story — and exactly what we're there to capture.

STEP 04

Day-of Coverage

We arrive ready.

The details, the emotion, the moments you'll want to remember — we're quietly capturing all of it while you're fully present in your day.

STEP 05

Your Gallery, Within Two Weeks

Your fully edited online gallery is delivered within two weeks of your celebration — beautifully curated and ready to revisit, share, and fall in love with all over again. From here, you'll mark your favorites and we'll schedule your design consultation.

STEP 06

Album Design Consultation

After marking your favorites in the gallery, we'll meet for your album design consultation. Together we'll shape the final edit — refining your selections, ensuring the full arc of your day is represented, and building something that tells the whole story. Albums have a way of growing as that story reveals itself.
