The Guided Experience

Five Steps, From Conversation to Wall

STEP 01

The Design Consultation

Before your session, we sit down together to talk about your family, your children, your home, and what you hope these portraits will become.

We want to understand how you see your children, where you may want to display the portraits, and whether you are imagining a wall collection, an heirloom album, or both.

We also talk clearly about the artwork we create, the available options, and what the finished portraits may cost.

By the time your session takes place, we have planned the direction together - and you will understand the experience, the artwork options, and the next steps.

STEP 02

Wardrobe Collaboration

What your family wears should support the portrait, not distract from it.

We help guide clothing choices so everyone feels comfortable and the finished artwork feels natural in your home - without anyone needing to look overly matched or uncomfortable.

STEP 03

The Portrait Session

If you have had your family photographed before, you may remember that it can feel a little stressful.

Children may get tired.
Someone may feel unsure.
Not everyone may arrive ready to cooperate.

That is normal.
Your only job is to arrive as yourselves.

Every session moves at the rhythm of your family. We do not rush to fit a clock.

We gently guide the session so real connection, personality, and expression can come through naturally.

STEP 04

Portrait Selection & Ordering Appointment

About one week after your session, you will come back to the studio for your Portrait Selection & Ordering Appointment.

Together, we review your portraits, finalize your selections, design your finished artwork, and place your order.

Because everything was planned with your family and home in mind from the beginning, this is where it all comes together - wall collections, albums, framing, finishes, and the spaces where your artwork will live.

By the end of the appointment, your order is complete and your artwork begins the process of being created.

STEP 05

Creating, Delivering, & Installing the Artwork

Your selected portraits now begin the process of becoming finished artwork - retouched, printed, framed, and finished with care, guided by everything we planned together.

When your artwork is ready, we bring it to your home and install it for you.

From that first conversation to the final piece on your wall, the experience is guided from start to finish.
